How African buyers buy a lot safely
- Pick one complete lot: ask for the lot reference, total pairs, quantities by style, color and size, and dated photos or video of that lot. Start from the current stocklots.
- Verify the seller and the goods: check the business identity, the batch evidence and the payee details before you pay, using the supplier verification checklist. View the goods or request packing videos; full-carton packing is available.
- Compare shipping quotes on the same basis: same goods, same trade term, same charges, using the shipping quote checklist. Use your own nominated forwarder, deliver to a warehouse in China, or ask Qihang to help arrange export.
- Pay and reserve: by default the lot is reserved once full payment has actually been received. A quotation or a payment screenshot does not reserve a lot.
Things to check before ordering for Africa
- Import rules: some African countries restrict or prohibit certain footwear imports, or require pre-shipment documents. Check the current rules for your country with your forwarder or customs broker before you order. Qihang does not handle customs clearance in your country.
- Size mix: stocklots come with the size breakdown of the batch; you cannot pick sizes or single pairs. Check the size distribution matches your customers.
- Kids' shoes: if you mainly sell children's shoes, see kids' stocklots and regular kids' wholesale.
